They will if you stick it in the 5kg plastic bag Smiley Very Happy Smiley Tongue

The satchels have two limits though, weight and size. I don't really get why the 500g satchels have to be so small, because as far as I know <500g packages are never cubed (unless massive), and the over-the-counter prices of the satchels are $1 or so more than the basic 500g parcel rate, so I don't really see any advantages in using pre-paid ones, even when purchased in bulk (except for convenience, I suppose).

being able to use eBay/C&S labels for postage proof?

And eBay satchels are 10% cheaper than AP ones. And marginally cheaper than standard 500g postage rates where you have to find something to wrap the item in.

I said the pre-paid satchels, which don't provide proof in general, just a tracking number, and they're $8-something. 😛

The express tracking number showed as delivered 3-days after lodgement.

Even tho both end postcodes are within the AP defined express network.

I have raised a query with AP on this one.

There has still not been so much as a full stop message from the buyer on any aspect of this one.

Even tho she paid for express that took 3-days to arrive.

Nor about the refund we gave her for the extra express postage paid.

personally i wouldnt offer express postage as AP doesn't seem to be able to deliver on the promise they make and there is no penalty when they dont.

but the seller gets penalised when AP doesnt deliver on their promise.

same goes for the new pay extra to get your letter delivered faster, no penalty if its not. complete waste of money.

might just as well stick with basic postage with tracking, plus sign on delivery if you feel it needs it.
