I'm still laughing at all the above messages.
But I do roll my eyes when I get people asking a question about the postage cost or the size of the item.
If they bothered to read the item description, they wouldn't need to ask as it's all in there.

I won't go through the whole hilarious saga but old timers will remember it but my numptiest buyer ever was the one who returned a cerise tee shirt as I should have known that she wanted a red one to go with her red tartan kilt.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?

Before my time, but I do know that you're allergic to cerise.

Not even black is safe. ![]()
The first neg I ever got happened like this, just for those who weren't around when I ranted about it at the time
(was a few years ago now, back when I still sold clothing).
Listed a clothing item, title said "Black........", item specifics said "Black", Description started with "A black....". Now, admittedly I wasn't quite as adept at taking or editing pictures back then, and the lighting had giving the (very black) item that kind of UV-purply hue to it around the edges.
So, someone bought it, messaged later to ask for more time to pay, paid, then later left a neg saying "It was black....but I expected it to be purple" (meaning, they read the description, decided I didn't know what I was talking about when I said it was black, decided not to clarify it with me for sure when they asked for more time to pay, and then popped my neg cherry...
). It took me about 24 hours, but I did talk eBay into removing it. ![]()
That buyer had left some interesting FB for other sellers, too - one mentioned that the item looked brand new so they hoped it wasn't stolen (at least it was accompanied by a green dot, though).

I've got an ongoing one at the moment. Buyer bought tracked post through click and collect Brisbane to Sydney nearly three weeks ago. It appears either Australia Post or Big W have lost the parcel not entirely sure which currently fairly sure Aus Post but not 100%. One says the other then other says they dont have it etc. Buyer is still convinced that we are Big W despite being told umpteen times we are not Big W and offered phone number etc. eBay dont want to know as parcel is in transit and buyer not smart so doesnt know how to file a claim ( fortunately) but I just want the frikking thing delivered / found! Required by this weekend and Aus Post investigation takes 10 days which went down well with the buyer who is now utterly convinced I am the Russian mafia and trying to con her! sigh.....
Just refund kop a neg and move on I think lifes really too short.
But yes 99% of buyers hassle free and great. Unfortunately the 1% of time wasting tyre kickers are incredibly time consuming but that's retail!
