Reason for ending listings

Hi All,

I have to go to hospital for quite a llong spell and so need to end all of my listings for a while.

However, none of the reasons given for ending them apply to my case.

Could anyone suggest which reason would be the best to choose and could you confirm that I won't be chartged a fee for ending them.

None of them have bids on.

Isn't there the optin tochoose that the item is no lnger available to sell? If not pick any other that is nearest. It desn' really matter as t maked no difference as no fees will be charge as long as there are no bids.

It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.

See what a trendsetter I am?

Hi Thanks for that. Yes that is the closest reason; I was just worried that they might not let me re-list it later on when I'm hopefully back again. Silly thinking, I know, nut then who knows how ebay thinks sometimes!

Sorry, were you having a go at me or agreeing?

i allways use 'there is an error in the listing' but dont think it makes any difference.

If you end more than one item at a time, you don't have to give reasons.

Just select them all in 'my selling' and click 'end'. Easy as.

I think PJ was querying eBay's ability to think. Smiley Wink

"You mean eBay think" kind of throwaway.

The reason you select is probably only for the marketing department to look at once a year.

Just select No longer for sale and then relist later. But remember they only remain in unsold for 60 days unless you are using a third party listing tool.

Or better still, do as dave suggests. Smiley Wink

Thanks, of course I was referring to ebay as the group of people who make the decisions, as in any company, it thinks what those in charge and other employees (& those in call centres) think.
