Chinese Sellers - How they do it. Buying Feedback

Wonder where these Chinese sellers come from?     Getting so much feedback so quickly?

Its really simple,  they just buy it.

I have attached a picture of a typical advertisment I found on a well known Chinese site,   there is tonnes of these types of adds offering this service. Which enables them to quickly set up stores and list thousands of cheap items that will automatically rank higher,  it does'nt stop there either..  These guys often have several stores on standby waiting for the bad feedbacks to roll in, then simply delist and relist on the new store...

How it works:  After paying the fee, someone will buy items from the store.  They immediatly leave Posative Feedback,  but do not pay for the item.  It is then up to the store owner to open unpaid item cases for each sale,  using the Automatic unpaid item manager is recomended..

I'm sure Ebay is aware of this service, but still these types of shops seem to be popping up all the time..

Don't sell stuff when you can't compete withe Chinese sellers?

I'm sure you will correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't appear to be a regular board member, you're not exactly hurting (given your feedback number), why are you suddenly angsty about Chinese sellers? They are not exactly new, nor are their practices.

Wow, I had no idea this was going on.  Learn something new every day.

Google's your friend TP............................pretty scarey really.

I think they do because the couple of Chinese sellers that I buy from regularly, have over 50,000 feedback, several thousand listings at any given time and have never had a negative. One got a neutral last year, so I think they may have been testing the waters by buying that one. Maybe they wanted to fit in with all the other Chinese sellers.

Nah, the buyers pay for the negs.

Of course, that skipped my mind. Smiley Very Happy

And we facilitate it every time we buy Chinese. Smiley Sad
