c bc.... please, in future never do a Mutual Cancellation. ALWAYS open / close a non payer dispute if the 'buyer' does not pay you

that way neither side can leave any f/b and if they leave you a neg before the case is closed ebay will remove it.

regarding fb on this one?  DO NOT, ever, be tempted to leave a 'false' positive, i.e. positive dot with neg comments.  as sellers can ONLY leave a positive, just do not leave any fb in this instance.

~~ ~~ ~~ Those who do right, have nothing to fear.

cb - if you mean ebay have sent a Feedback Revision to the buyer don't be surprised if she doesn't revise the feedback.  You really need to ring ebay and explain the situation to an ebay rep, i.e. she didn't pay:-)

Don't let buyers drag things out over weeks, if they don't pay within a reasonable time (I give the minimum of 4 days, some allow 7) open an unpaid item dispute and close it 4 days later. I never offer mutual cancellation unless I have made a mistake or it is a repeat buyer who wants to change an order.

It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.

See what a trendsetter I am?

Thank you for the heads up with the dispute resolution thing. I did do that but then wanted to be able to relist so thought I should just cancel it. Now I understand the process I'll definitely be doing it the right way. If you want to relist something after it's the subject of the unpaid dispute thing, do you need to wait til the case is closed?

Thanks motherbear, the chat guy said they should be able to remove it. I believe it was through their own channels, not through the buyer.

Wow that was quick it's already been removed!

Well done - your would be buyer has joined my long list of "special" people and if you haven't done so, you should now]:)

CBC sorry you had to endure this buyer, I thank you for the heads up though as they have also made my "special people" list.

Good luck!

😉

ho hum .... yes special list now a tad longer ....

There's some idiots out there.

I sold a musical instrument last week, $250. Same instrument selling elsewhere on eBay for $320. Buyer asked if I could rush the postage as he was going away in a few days, wanted to take it with him. He paid for it that night, I was at the PO at 9am the next morning. He got it in time.

Left me neutral feedback because he didn't like the strings on it, thought they were a bit cheap.

Go out of my way to make buyers happy, lucky if I get ANY feedback on transactions 1 out of 3 sales.

Wonder why I bother some times.
