No they don't that is the agreement they have with Australia Post. Ebay is not a postal service. You don't totally understand postage service, Ebay is an auction site. And what if sellers use other couriers. They can't restrict sellers to use Australia Post only otherwise they have to pay the 10%.

Obvoiusly you don't.

This has been through Parliament and the ACCC. As eBay provide a postage service (a subset of Click & Send), they are entitled to charge a fee on postage. Whether you choose to avail yourself of this service is your choice.

There is no way you would win a case, and encouraging others to band with you is, at best, quixotic.

Your opinion is useless. Do you work for ebay?

Also there is no such thing as entitled to charge a fee on postage. Are bank entitled to charge bank fees. That is what you think they are entitled to. Too bad, the class action just won.

I am not asking you. What is it you get for stopping me?

For heaven sake, you have already said you have abondoned the idea of a class action because there are too many conditions and you did not know how to get people to come forward.  Why keep on about it.

You are not going to get anyone to join you by posting on the boards.

It is a posting violation to agitate against ebay or to circulate petitions.  Anyone who wants to keep selling on ebay will not be interested in a class action or any other action against ebay.

.. the words "stockholme syndrome" come to mind ..

No, not Stockholm Syndrome....just cold hard facts that all avenues have been explored long ago.  Why waste time and money going over the same ground when it has already been established that ebay has got away with it whether we like it or not.

As for flouting posting policy....I have seen posters kicked off the boards for being too outspoken about ebay.

Why waste time and money going over the same ground when it has already been established that ebay has got away with it whether we like it or not.

So you are saying this has already been tested in a court of law? or are you saying that politicians and accc are the law? or are you saying ebay can do no wrong? ..

I totally agree with you.
