Hiding listings

Hi members, just wondering as I will be going away for a month, how do you hide your listings? Don't really want to put into holiday mode incase someone buys anyway.

 

Also, i seem to recall that you can only hide your listings if you have a store, or was that holiday mode?

Holiday mode is for stores. People can still buy.

 

Hiding listings is available in holiday mode. And nobody can buy hidden listings because, in most cases, they can't see them.

 

If I was going away for a month, I would be ending all my listings. There is no way I would court disaster by posting up to a month after sale; even with a suitably extended handling time.

You can do it buy turning on the out of stock feature.
Once it is on make all the listing quantities = 0.
Doing this will cause your listings to be hidden but still active so you will not lose your sales history or viewers. When you return you just need to put back the quantities again.
If you are using GTC listings they will still renew whileyou are away.

Only stores can hide their listings (while leaving them running). When you put your store into holiday mode you have two choices - leave your listings available for purchase or hide them so they're not visible and nobody can buy them. People who've already got your items on their watchlist or other lists can still see them but they can't buy them.
