A tool is a tool.

And that, my dear PJ, is without a doubt the most accurate statement you've ever made on eBay. :^O

If eBay do this to me I will be contacting Consumer Affairs. Ebay didn't make you an offer of the Power Seller status nor did they give you the option to accept. Their statement that they no longer can remove it once it is installed just sounds like b******t to me.

Its ebay's site and ps status is one controlled by them, not by any external jurisdiction. The same way your membership etc is up to ebay.

PS is a level
you sell $3,000 / 100 items p.a. you are at that level

you want to stay below that level? not have PS?
simple, just dont sell so many items for such $ value and you stay below.

it is not a STATUS or a GIFT, it is simply an indication of what level you trade at on eBay's site, and they indicate that with Bronze, Silver, Gold etc. PS levels.....

you make it to that level, that is shown on the eBay site.

nothing to do with consumer affairs or anyone else, eBay indicate what level of customer you are, ONLY YOU can determine which level you reach by the amount of business you do on eBay, your choice, your decision.

and not as simple as just opening other accounts, sure you can but its timeconsuming and was not as straightfwd as I thought it would /could/should be.

No, it doesn't make a difference what we say, its ebay's site and they can award mickey mouse ears if they like (if they had SOH that is ;))

qs is cheap as there's no buyers.

Ebay rort for small sellers,

Ebay made me a  POWER Seller (Very smart on there behalf) and i loose my 30 free listings. i list about 5 or 6 items 4 days a week.

I DON'T WANT TO BE A POWER SELLER.
