Free Ebay Gift

Aww Shucks, Thanks Uncle Ebeneezer Ebay..Just what Ive always wanted a free box of coloured masking tape..maybe in your current mood of "generosity" you could switch on my store lights so I could perhaps use the gift of masking tape for long awaited sales..

I presume you mean ebay sent you a box of packing tape labelled ebay?

Why look a gift horse in the mouth....it will save you having to buy packing tape.

I'll stick it good Cat Tongue

List it on ebay as a rare collectible, after all something free from ebay is pretty rare.

I needed a good laugh !!

they sent me 18 rolls as a freebie, which as you can imagine, weighs a hell of a lot.

i'd just bought about 12 rolls a week or so before.

while i appreciate the gift, i thought the money could have spent in a better way - ie, fixing one of the millions of technical problems 😛

Ah well, that explains one thing.

I've noticed ebay seems to have a big TV ad campaign happening & in it you see all these ecstatic customers with their boxes all wrapped around with ebay tape.

I remember thinking... I've never seen anything like that-it's not ebay posting the parcels, after all.

They'll be wanting you shop owners to push their brand. Why not I guess, if the tape is free.

Maybe the ads are location based. I've not seen any ads for eBay here (regional NSW).
