I actually had a notice in Messages from ebay yesterday, to offer me 10 free listings  if i used Quicklist, the new best thing since sliced bread.

I was a bit surprised as this has been a buyer only account for years and even when I shared another account with my sister, we never had a shop, I am not even sure if shops on ebay existed back then.

My eyes glazed over at the part that said  * other fees & charges may apply.

Aren't I already entitled to 40 free listings a month anyway? So, how would their offer be helpful except perhaps for listings 41-50?

But in the future there may be a charge for using the Quicklist tool,(they may just be trying to "butter" members

up so they can make a profit on it?).

Why have two listings tools to confuse members and sneak in a payment system?

Springy, the "other fees and charges may apply" usually means that the cost of a subtitle, or listing in more than one category isn't covered (which they aren't with normal listings).

I don't know why they tell us to write a good description when they then tell us we can complete a listing in 60 seconds. Sometimes just checking all the item specifics can take me that long, let alone writing a proper description and title and loading the pictures!

I put the Quicklist tool on to give it a try but I don't like it.

Cannot see anywhere now on its selling page where I can turn it off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thankyou
