eBay won't admit to reading posts on the boards but they probably do, however they won't respond to posts here unless it's them that have started the thread.

But even the rare times one of them does start the thread, they only reply if the comments from us members are things ebay staff want to hear. They don't like honest feedback or to respond to valid concerns

Why not simply post the fix here so everyone can see it, and you don't have to reply to possibly a heap of pm's.

It will take me a while to do that. If anyone needs a fix now I am happy to send the chat transcripts from ebay to get them on their way. I will write out a more legible solution here when I get a chance for anyone who may need it in the future. It's been a complicated issue to work out.
