Before you panic, see if the winning bidder is indeed overseas or maybe here in Australia but bidding with an overseas account..

Your item is not the sort of thing that normally attracts scammers.

If you want to prevent international bidders from being able to bid on your items, then do the following:

 

 

• firstly, cancel the bids from the buyers who are unwelcome
• block the bidders by adding each username to your blocked bidder list
• block international buyers by ensuring the relevant boxes are checked
• go to your Buyer requirements, and check the box next to "Block buyers whose primary postage address is in a location I don't post to"

But if the item in question is the sofa, then I see it's already been won. I agree with Lyndal - that's a strange item for international bidders to be buying!

I have just had another look at the bidding history on your item.   Which bidder is from overseas?

On the surface of it there is absolutely nothing suspicious about the bidding pattern, apart from the fact that you say there is an overseas bidder.......actually you post gives the impression that all the bidders are from overseas but that is just not possible.

You can't they hide by a wall of cleverly engineered physiological nonsense to put you off trail...just like most corporations today - faceless.
