I think the topic heading threw us off a bit. But no never mind. I think cddib got the required suggestions and direction anyway. That’s the important bit 🙂

We've got our wires crossed somewhere,I thought that you're after a response from the buyers to let you know if they received the items.

You're not after feedback as I read your post but many members are responding regarding actual feedback.

That's why I said yes you can ask the buyers to let you know if the item has arrived.

as i allways use tracking this is not a big problem for me, but when i see an items delivered and dont get feedback i worry a little is this my first 'i'm not happy jan' moment.

when the items expensive and the buyer doesnt leave feedback i just cross my fingers and hope.

personally i leave feedback for every purchase regardless. usually the day the item arrives.

I get feedback for about 30% of my sales.

There was a complaint on the buying board a week or so ago, where people were complaining that they couldn't leave feedback for purchases. So maybe a bit of both.

I sell for money, not (hopefully green) dots. A lot of buyers, it would seem, do the same.

If I haven't heard from them, I assume they got their item.

Thanks everyone.  All comments very helpful and increase my knowledge on the workings of eBay.  Cheers.
