bitza_this_bitza_that.. it's great that you are looking up policies and reading them. It will be of great benefit to you, as you clearly have much to learn. 🙂

So you do not need help from the boardies any more?

I guess not...you have ebay Customer Service and are now actually reading the rules.;-)

I am sure glad then, the sellers I purchased off didn't have low FB blocked.  I have only 13 feedback, all good, but I never would have gotten that fb if I had been blocked because I was new.

Phone verifying ... well I rarely give personal contact details to a website if I don't have to.  Ebay didn't need my phone number for me to buy things, so why would I give it.

Didn't you give your phone number when you joined ebay Karen?

Why is it such a secret?

as you say bad, great benefit, let's hope 'mens choice' reads a bit as well.

I have to agree with you in that I've also had several buyers over the last few months not pay for items and its so frustrating.

Tonight, after sending 3 friendly reminders and hearing nothing, I asked for the buyers contact details.  When I called, the buyer was very rude and said 'if I'd have wanted it I'd have contacted you' and slammed the phone down.  This completely took me by surprise as she'd bought the item outright so wouldn't you think she wanted it!

I try to do the right thing by everyone and give them a chance as we all have busy lives but just by common courtesy, wouldn't you just contact the seller and say you've had a change of mind?  I know I would if that were me.

Also, the only thing you can do is then open up an unpaid item dispute.  Meanwhile the items no longer listed and anyone who was looking at it has now disappeared.

I know you get your fees refunded but its such a lot of time and energy wasted and then to get spoken to like that really takes the cake!

Sorry I haven't been on here before but just needed to vent!  Hope that's okay to do that in this discussion.

It is considered poor form to drag up month's old threads, especially if it's just to vent.

There are current threads about this issue, mainly because sellers won't use the tools eBay provide them with to avoid non-payers. Serial ones at least.
