My goodness, have not seen one of these in years - my daughter used to make them and called them 'pickabox' - they were not so pretty and attractive as yours however, good luck, they sued to be all the rage

I can not believe people will pay for something like that now. We used to pull pages out of our exercise books and make our own....about 60 years ago.   I taught my children and grandchildren how to make them and have always known them as "pickaboxes".

I always called them a "Salt Cellar"

The salt cellar is an origami "base" that is then used to make other things (cranes?). It's also flipped over and used as a fortune teller.


 


Remember that TV show with Robert somebody or other? We watched that every time it played, back in the late 1960's or early 70's
