Yes I am aware you are only a buyer and was pointing out how easy it will be for sellers to choose the Sendle option to save a few dollars.

Yes, that is very unfortunate.

There are sellers out there who think only of their bottom line and not what is convenient or inconvenient for their buyers.

In other words, some sellers are following eBay's example?

The Sendle rates for me showed cheaper until I filled in the size and weight boxes then they were crazy. Over $20 for one that was a small satchel $8.65 through AP. Don't think I'll bother with them.

Did anybody read the fine print from AP in regards to the Send and Save Discount?

Just seen this and now I hope it is just a typo

Qualifying parcels count towards your sending volume and include all eligible parcels (except Domestic and International Extra Cover) as well as the following:

  • All domestic Parcel Post and Express Post satchels – Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large
  • Domestic Express Post and Parcel Post flat rate satchels and postage and flat rate box postage
  • Domestic Australia Post If It Packs, It Posts packaging flat rate up to 5kg (in-store only)

In-store only is the thing I am concerened about. Im guessing online purchases dont count according to this?
Does anybody know?

Does not say anything about If it packs it posts

All parcels where you either print a label online or pay over the counter and scan your id code count. I don't use pre paid satchels so don't know if they count.

Printed off an eBay >500g auspost parcel label yesterday - price was $8.65. Same weight parcel 2 previously price was $8.95.

There be gremlins or a confused work experience boy in label pricing programming.

I am also getting inconsistencies in eth eBay AP satchel price. For one item the price for a asmall satchel is $8.65. The next item is $8.95 for the same satchel.  Doing my head in

Just worked it out - eBay is using zonal pricing based on postcodes. For small AP satchels

Same Major City +$8.21

Other Major City +$8.65

Rural +$8.95
