Buyer not responding to case they opened

Short version. Buyer opened case and asked for 50% money back, I agreed and sent the offer but buyer is yet to confirm and it’s been about a week. What happens or what should I do?

As I understand, if the buyer doesn't respond, the case will close with no refund.

But eBay has extended deadlines on cases due to Covid-19.
