Not sure of the message problem, but looking thru the answer and discussion boards today a few people have complained about the site not functioning the way it should.

My standard response is clear cache and cookies, and try a different broswer (Firefox is good with eBay), but also they may be experiencing some tech difficulties, so maybe try tomorrow if the above doesn't work
