eBay's actual FVF charge including GST for media with a basic store is 13.1%, though, instead of the 13.09 it works out to be if you add 1.19 to 11.9.
13.1% of $4.40 is $0.576, which then gets rounded up to a total of 58c.
The way they communicate these things leaves a lot to be desired, but the calculation is (technically) correct for how they do it.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this, Digi - I'm in the same tier and made myself a spreadsheet with all the formulas when MPs came in, and it's been driving me CRAZY trying to work out why every so often, the calculations are out by a cent. Your explanation makes perfect sense ...
