What you need to know
- In mid-July 2022, some Item Specifics will become required in the following categories
- Collectibles (Toys)
- Health & Beauty
- Home & Garden
- Parts & Accessories
- From 17 May 2022, you’ll be able to see and edit these in Seller Hub
- When we release new Item Specifics, some category structures will also change. We’ll also be taking the opportunity to update the names of some existing Item Specifics

At least they didn't change books again. Except for the mindless, pointless 'Original Language' one they snuck in without notice a week or so ago.

I work on the assumption that they are all English, except for Christian Jacq. Like country of publication - unless they are Australian authors, that is 'Unknown'.

It's still not tricky and glitchy enough. Surely eBay can do more.
I insist on eBay adding "Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics" as the default language option for books, and "various unknown Egyptian priests" as the default author. There's also no reason why the default format can't be audiobooks; simply because the pronunciation is largely speculative/unknown is no reason not to provide the public with the in-demand audio version of 𓂋𓏤𓈒 𓏌𓏤 𓉐𓂋 𓏏𓂻 𓅓 𓉔𓂋 𓅱 𓇳𓏤 , narrated by, say, Alex Jennings.
