EBay’s commission on any listing

So I only receive 85% of what my item is sold for?

item sold $331.25

funds available $284.36

Ebay commission is 15%

is that the case for anyone selling on eBay & is it more or less of a commission for eBay if the person selling has a store?

IMG_6347.jpeg

if you do the maths its 13.4 percent plus the 30 cent fee,

store is cheaper, but you pay for the store

You will most likely have to wait 30 days for your funds as you look like a irregular seller.

Hope you have signed up for managed payments or you could be waiting longer

lol what’s managed payment? I’m in for the long haul I guess 🙄

Long haul or not if you don't sign up for Managed Payments you will never get your money.

Edit. Snap - kind of RP.

Its that thing that you agreed to when you listed your item for sale.   Which of course you read it before you ticked the box that agreed to it.

Just put it this way you wont see a dime until you sign up.

Terms and conditions and rules only apply to everyone else Sugar, you should know that! That's why people just tick the box and hit submit. The rules don't apply to them. Then they whinge when it all goes pear shaped.

Nothing to lol about or roll your eyes at

Sorry, but as said, you ticked you had read and understood when listing

Just as it showed you the fees before you listed

How did you imagine you were going to be paid?

Paypal has not been a thing for sellers in nearly four years

If you don’t have a clue what you are doing, you need to read about the basics before doing anything

Have you sent this item to the buyer yet?

You need to do so within your handling time

If not, you will have a very disgruntled buyer open a dispute for item not received
