I asked CS "what is the point of automatic re-lists if you can't guarantee the new start time"

She couldn't answer me....I think our only hope is when USA wake up on Mon 08/07, there will be a meltdown for all Auction sellers.

Planned? Sabotage?

When I said to her 'I think I will wait another 24 hours, before attempting to fix myself', she told me about the piece of paper she had in front of her with new rules????????

Then I said "before anything changes eBay needs to make an announcement & change their policy"....this is rubbish! She is passing on to R&D....

I guess that means I'll untick the automatic relist box & manually relist my auctions - luckily I don't have hundreds every day, but it's still a nuisance.

I'll give it a little while first, though, to see if the backlash causes a backflip!

yes, Power to the People....πŸ˜“

There are plenty of things that are broken on eBay. Those could be fixed rather than the things that AREN’T broken.

Ours relisted almost immediately tonight.

Fingers crossed .....

Hardly an eBay thing. They rarely fix broken, even when they constantly increase inventory.

Sadly true. They’ll repaint the dining room while ignoring the smashed windows.

I find it all very odd.

I would have thought the system would be fully automated and any unsold item in a 'relist' category would be pretty much instantly relisted when the first ad period expired. I could understand maybe a few seconds of lag but not hours.

I wonder what their reasoning is for changing things.

There must have been a perceived problem.

I've been running auctions for 14 years.....re-lists have always been 'to the minute'.....15 hours is outrageous!

We've had the odd one relist at a later time, but very rarely.  It's generally within a minute or two, which is fine for us.
