Invoicing a buyer before purchase

Hello there,

I have a buyer who sent an email after the counteroffer was refused. I have accepted the amount the buyer wishes to pay and he informed me to invoice him. From what I have read the item needs to be purchased first, is this correct?  If not what are my best options ?

Thanks.

They need to make another offer….or have they exceeded their limit?

Yes it needs to be purchased  first but looking at your items for sale, it sounds like you've been contacted by

a Scammer. That's exactly what they say to sellers of  high priced items.

You'll need to be very careful
