trying revising a listing and look under payment options?

Although I don't know why ebay would interfere with your listings on that account - I thought anybody could choose "immediate payment" if they want.    Maybe someone else will know.

New seller here . . . eBay keeps taking down my listings cos I'm demanding "immediate payment" but I can't see where to untick it, it is just on the listing itself or somewhere in my account?
Clicking the links in the email takes me to random eBay help pages which don't have any menu paths or screen shots which would help identify where to untick it or what the option is even called!

So frustrating.

I looked at your two recently ended listings and neither of them required immediate payment - whatever is causing eBay to end your listings, I suspect it's a different issue and the immediate payment thing is either a misunderstanding or something, since (as curraone mentioned) immediate payment required is not just a function eBay allow, but both encourage and, in some cases, even enforce.

You don't have GPay listed as a payment option, though, which suggests that you have not been signed up to Managed Payments yet (ebay's new payment system), so that could be the root cause of the problem.

Found out how to do this (2025, Australian eBay).

- You need to first go to your payment policies (My eBay - Account - Selling - Business Policies)  and make sure you have one that does NOT have "require immediate payment.." , or create a new one that does.

- You can then Bulk Edit - Payment preferences -Business Policies - and choose the Payment Policy - select Change to " and choose the new policy that does not have immediate payment associated with it.  Don't forget to press save.

Seriously???

This thread is 7 years old. Obviously the OP would have found the setting they were looking for by now... or do you honestly think they're just sitting there waiting for someone to reply 7 years later?

If you've got something you would like to share, you could always start your own thread... but please don't bump anything this old - especially when nothing you post will be of any relevance at all to the OP

Hi everyone,

Please note that this is an old post; feel free to start a new thread, as this one will be locked.

Thanks,
