Hi, I just sold a voucher where I electronically transferred it. I put 'local pickup' on it because I'm a novice and ebay won't release the funds without a 'buyer confirmation code/qr' from a confirmation email. I don't know if I or the buyer gets that when it's 'picked up' or what.
Can anyone help? I don't know what I'm doing!

The buyer receives it. Try messaging the buyer and asking for the code.
BUT Are you registered to sell and signed up for managed payments ?
Transaction holds apply for new / infrequent seller, 14-30 days
The buyer's left you feedback so eBay may release the payment earlier if you ask and IF you're signed up for managed payments

On the right hand side you'll see the automated assistant. Ask to speak to a supervisor
