Yes I discovered that I am signed in for this and accepted.Just do not have the sale funds.

Being a high value item your funds will be On Hold……go to Help again, and look that up……research is your best friend 🧐

Your payments will be on hold.  Expanding  everything in this link will give you more information

https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/transaction-holds?id...

BUT  Did you enter the QR code for your pick up item  sold on 29th April ?

https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/posting-items/setting-postage-options/local-pickup?id=4181&srsl...

If yes, what does the payments tab in your Seller Hub show ?

Your payments will be  On Demand , not paid  into your bank account automatically  like the usual managed payments.

If you are new seller then you have to wait 30 days for your funds to be released.

If the OP entered the QR code for the pick up item,  the payment definitely shouldn't be on hold for 30 days

Because of the high price of the item purchased from the overseas buyer, and if it's been posted, the payment would generally be on hold for 31 days

Other than that, this should apply:

An Occasional Seller

Sellers who haven't yet established a strong, consistent track record or who don't have any recent selling history will receive their funds 24 hours after delivery confirmation (for tracked items), or 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking).

If you previously qualified to receive your funds faster as a new seller registered as an individual, you may experience this hold if you haven't sold in a while. If you do, you'll receive your funds 2 days after delivery confirmation or 14 days after the buyer pays.

Thank you all for your advice etc.Clearly these days it seems payment holds are common with Ebay.Dare I say it is about getting interest on the money held.Anyway I have removed all my listings and will look at other ways to sell my items. Thanks again

Yes, it’s about interest….but also fraud

Good luck. 🙂 I hope it goes well for you.

If you entered the QR code for your pick up item and the funds  are still showing as 'on hold' in your seller hub payment tab, which they shouldn't be,   click on Contact Us at the bottom of the page in this link.

On the right hand side you'll see the automated assistant.  As to speak to an agent or supervisor regarding release of the funds

https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/local-pickup?id=4181&st...

Good advice, however, casey, I have to say the run around you get from the automated assistant is so frustrating!  I don't know how many times today I had to ask to speak to an agent, and I had everything prepared beforehand to try to make everything as easy as possible.

I have nothing positive to say about the automated assistant, after having been caught up in their loop many times and wasted heaps of time on it 😠

However, that is just another 'enhancement' that ebay has introduced and we have absolutely no alternative. (I don't have insta so not an option for me.)

Please don't think I'm having a go at you; you're one of the most valuable posters on here 🙂 I'm just venting my frustrations with the ebay systems.

Soap box over! 😀
