Oh, come on guys (and girls), eBay said this was another fee "reduction". You can trust eBay to tell you the truth, can't you?—LOL ... http://bit.ly/YvxFEg

just did a test run on 'antique dining table'

and I can choose

Antiques > Furniture > dining

or

Collectables > Homewares > Furniture

so just pick the Antiques category

No they didn't.

I'm all for calling out eBay on any smoke and mirrors tactics, but "new fee structure" doesn't mention a reduction, and if you read the OP, its clearly says: For some sellers fees will be going up, while others will see notable reductions.

Notable is subjective, but the statement is actually one of the true ones.

And there's more good news: Listing is cheaper than ever. You receive free listings each month: 80 free Fixed Price listings for Basic Store Package holders and 40 free listings on Fixed Price or Auction items for non-Store Package holders.

That's where the smoke and mirrors comes into it. Listing is, generally, cheaper than ever.

It's selling that isn't.

$1.50 (minimum) for auctions, depending on individual circumstances, notwithstanding.

I am so confused. I printed out the 2013 Spring Seller Update & it says

1. pay no insertion fees for up to 500 FREE listings for a premium store $49.95 with a 12 month commitment or $59.95 without a 12 month commitment.

2. FREE listings can be fixed price or auction

Now according to what I am reading on the boards everyone is saying you only get 80 free listings but they are fixed price only. 80 sure is a massive difference to 500

yodablu, here is a table comparing store subscriptions
