Why on earth would you send the second parcel without tracking?

Of course if you used click & send in the first place you would have saved a bit on postage and would have been covered.

Did you check that you sent to the address in Paypal, not the one in the item sold email?

Not nasty feedback, just factual IMO, as you didn't send tracked you cannot say if the buyer received them or not.

Of course buyers can be wrong - OFTEN - but we as sellers are never allowed to say so (what we think to ourselves is our own right 🙂 )  think it is called customer service - sux at times, but on the whole, not many bad one's out there.

Buyer and i did communicate and address was confirmed.

Actual postage to me for a 3kg (next size up from 500g according to post office women) satchel was $11.40 from my post office so in reality i charged less for postage than what it cost me.(very very fair dont you think ?).Could not place inside a 500gram satchel because items total weight was over the 500g limit.Think by 20grams.

Nasty feedback.Well dont you think a neg is nasty ??

I did contact ebay but as per usual,no answer.

Maybe they never received it but then i ask myself, why didnt they open a dispute that item was not received?

My mind boggles..Ive been had and thats the way it is..

If they were deceiving you just to get the second pair free, it seems odd that they'd give you a neg and claim the second rat traps weren't received. They would have probably been laughing all the way to glowing positive feedback for you. Perhaps there was a problem sending rat traps through the mail and it was intercepted somewhere.

As everyone says, tracking is good but proof of receival via a signature using Registered Post is the way to go. You can then follow up with Aus Post and see if they really did receive it by checking if they signed for it. Since your traps are over $20, as a seller you need the safety of knowing whether it was received or not.

Do you ue click and send?? A 3kg satchel is $10.55 and only another $1.   or so to track - if you paid $11.20 anyway you should def look at c&s.

NO Koala..... the OP (soaper) paid the 2nd lot of postge too.

Agree with leader. If the first parcel goes missing, why do sellers just send another one? If you are going to send another one, then at least send it by registered post so it can't go "missing".

A lot of things I sell are just not worth sending registered.

If I did I feel sales would drop a lot as I would need to put up the price to cover the registered mail.

But If a customer does not get an order, I will always cover the cost to send the second lot Registered.

The small cost involved is worth every cent. IMHO.

A lot of things I sell are just not worth sending registered.

That is why many of us use click & send with the ebay branded satchels which are cheaper than a regular satchel and have Paypal seller protection.
