I had an experienced ebayer purchase something today for a discounted 'best offer' price. They paid, then emailed: 'send by overnight post, I need this by the weekend'.
The listing only offers standard post, and a two day handling time. And they made no mention of it before purchasing.
Although I have emailed and explained I can't guarantee overnight post and it would cost extra for express they haven't emailed back. The item is not one that will fit in an express satchel or I'd wear the extra cost, even though it probably wouldn't arrive overnight anyway (coming from regional Qld, going to the bottom of NSW).
I expect I'll get unfair feedback over it.
I justed wanted to whinge about it. End of rant.

If I pay via Paypal, how long does it usually take to show up in a seller's paypal account?

I have had 5 different sellers do it to me within the last week I have paid via paypal and they have waited until the money has gone into their bank account first before they have sent it,
I find it rude and also if you don't have the money to post it to start with then don't sell or put in your terms that you do that, all of them as well no communication either
I will not buy from them again.
also I have been wondering if it is a new trend happening as I have to say I have never struck it before and I have been buying on and off for 10 years.

Another of C&Ss advantages is that you can pay for the postage via Paypal. Thus negating a seller's BS about needing the money in the bank to pay for postage.
Assuming the seller is interested in doing the best thing by the customer.
