If I can receive validation that their link provided in an email is tge proper place to send my docs then I will gladly have my papers validated as a genuine honest seller.

I have scanned my docs.

1. Medicare and Centrelink letters addressed to me at my residence

2. Transaction invoice with an ebay seller with 99.9% rating (33000++ feedback score) as he has my address and name.

3. Bank letters mailed to my address (account numbers and sensitive details removed).

4. Passport showing full name and photo.

I will assume that the link I have is valid and will send them the documents.

In relation to questions I asked on this thread of the OP it was because they indicated that they did not trust the email sent to them seeking documentation even though they were in contact with ebay about their  account issues. I asked particular questions - to clarify aspects of the OPs posts.

My follow up advice is for anyone who is not confident that ebay correspondence and return email address details are legitimate is to ring ebay yourself and confirm that the details are legitimate with them over phone - the call should take a few minutes.

Thank you for your advice on this matter.

Just for the record as well - I tried verifying the link they provided (wherein I would send my documents) but the person on the 1800 line could not confirm the veracity of said link and they could not connect me to anyone else so I could be at ease in providing sensitive and personal information.

How unusual.

Usually ebay will provide you with an email to forward documents to, whilst you are on the phone with them or a fax number to send them to ... if they have been requested of course.

This is my last post to this thread.

I have always been able to Fax documentation to a local Sydney phone number.

Check the phone book for ebay's Sydney number and check with them if you can Fax the documentation to the number in the phone book.

Thanks. I'll try that. Will try to find their "local" number.

The call center couldn't help.

I am curious...

Why would you buy two identical products from two different sellers at the exact same price? Why would you not notice that those two sellers appear to be either the same company using two different selling accounts or one has copied, including the account name of the other?

Wouldn't the fact that these two sellers are completely identical except one starts with "k" and the other "i" ring alarm bells with you?

Just look up the White Pages on line and in the business section type in ebay Australia and location Sydney.

It gives you a local phone number and fax number.

Got the number from the white pages as you suggested. Will give them a call in a bit.

Many thanks.

Thank you for your concern.

Yes I had thought they could be the same.

And when I did pay via paypal I saw that they were sent to only one email address.

But I did not have any serious concerns at that time. I just thought that the person was selling bulk and wanted to have more earning opportunity.

If I knew that is not allowed then I would be the first to ignore and/or report.

If the transaction fails because I was gullible enough, then it's my fault not to have checked details thoroughly and I get what I deserve.
