hi I am selling swimwear. the bottom itself can fit into tough bab, but the top with padding and underwire and also extra padding provided, so it is hard to send by tough bag. what is your advice for the packaging and cheapest postage. I am using 'free shipping all the time, if i sell one, the post office gets $7.00 benefit, it is more benefit than I get. What is the best carrier/delivery company that offers lower price and safe delivery than post office?

thanks so much for your help

Swimwear wasn't something I ever sold, so unfortunately I don't really know what the best way to package them would be, and I can imagine that some of them would be too awkward for sending as a letter no matter which way you folded it. To be honest, most of the time if a garment I sold had any wiring, boning etc, I'd send it as a parcel even if it could go as a letter to avoid the wires getting bent or damaged in the post.

thanks so much, i completely agree. It has to be a parcel anyway. thanks again.

I use Fastways as much as possible for my 2 stores. Their A5 bag can hold up to 1kg and costs $6.40. They are faster than Express Post in most cases (not to opposite coasts and Tas). The only problem is that they do not deliver to all areas in Australia when using the Pre-Paid bags. You also have to fill out the registration form and pre-buy the bags (come in packs of 20)

All parcels (unless authorisation given) are signed for and signature shows on the online tracking.

Cheaper, faster, online signature = winner
