Shopping Cart being introduced by November

Finally Shopping Cart being introduced ....just got an email

I think it will really work well for some buyers and sellers   From email....

New features designed to meet the evolving needs of online shoppers are on their way. With Christmas around the corner, make these features work for you and you could increase sales and customer loyalty while also saving time and money.

Not before time. Perhaps it will cut down on all the individual paypal payments I receive therefore reducing my fees.

Ebay states in that announcement email:

"Australia is a big country so having a 'one size fits all' postage cost is not always practical, particularly for heavy and bulky items."

Does that mean that Ebay is reversing the free postage requirement for Top Rated Sellers, or that people who sell heavy and bulky items are not "good" sellers?

They're trying to pretend that setting up to 15 flat rates is better than calculated.

It is if you you couriers (whose rates aren't supported by calculated postage).

i can already see the cart when viewing in firefox but not other browsers... huh?

We think it will work for us. Should save PayPal fees on multi-item orders where the buyers often pay in multiple transactions. Also should make it easier for us to collate and mail these same orders.

Almost end of november no shopping cart yet?

I have it on both my ID's now where as I only has it on my buying ID before.

It is not showing for me tonight, but it was yesterday.   It is still very erratic.
