I have just received the same email for the second time within 6 weeks. Guess I have to change my password again! Why can't these people go out and work to earn money rather than ripping people off! I'm sick of these creeps.

You don't need to change your password. Unless you clicked on a link.

There is a handy function on the internet. When you mouse over a URL, it will show you the real URL. Which, if it is a scam/phish usually has no relation to the stated URL. Use it.

Caveat emptor.

I have received 5 of these

I received an email yesterday with an imbedded link saying they had a question on item #108192900313, saying:

"Could you please tell me how much is the shipping to Cremorne Point, NSW 2090 ?

  Please let me know.

  Kind Regards,
  Susan"

Hotmail dumped in the Junk mail & I wondered why, but when I seached that number it didn't exist.  I have the feeling Hotmail picked up the ebey in the sending address.

I don't click links & I was very wary as I don't have any item that they would have to ask shipping.

By the way eBay is sending out emails with links to correct your listings - NOT happy about those.

I got this too - avoid

If it is genuine the identical message will be in your ebay message INBOX as well.

If you only see it on your email INBOX then it is suspect.

Bottom line don't click on any links embedded within emails unless you are 100% sure your know where it has come from.

And even then proceed with caution.

Yeah me too. I was sus as I don't have anything listed - so junked it to phishing scam. Seems it was the right thing to do now I've checked in here! Sadly these idiots must catch some people out. It's outrageous!!

They work on self-selection.

The people who automatically click links.

The people who don't run their mouse over the link to see what the ACTUAL URL is.

In short, the mugs.

I also got this email.

I have just received same email Not happy at all
