closing my account with ebay

I'm trying to close my account down with ebay but they wont let me can anyone give me some advice-they keep sending me bill after bill after bill.
i seem to be locked in and there is no way out for closure here on ebay that i can just shut it down????? can anybody offer any advice. appreciated.

Tells you how to close an account, and has a link to request it.
If you owe eBay any fees, they will want those paid before you can close it.
If you have any recent transactions, the account will remain open for a while after you have requested closure, to be certain any issues will be resolved before it is finalised.
There is also a contact us link on that page, so you can use that to talk to support about this.
"Will my account be closed immediately?
No, there's a waiting period to ensure that any transactions you made are complete.
During the waiting period, you won’t be able to bid, make purchases, list items, or change your contact information, but you’ll still have access to your account information.
When the waiting period is over, you’ll receive an email confirming that your account is closed."

thanks for reply-no charges but they say I still cannot close account until 30 days after last bill and them maybe they will let me depending on how they feel and if i dont reapply to shut it after such a time i again must reapply and go through whole nonsense again.
-but they also state that because im low seller i may have to somehow get my sell quotas up before they stop billing me 'im on suspension' basically [really just a con].
im kinda getting worried here it all seems dodgy to me and now ive shut my paypal account to ebay down because they keep billing me almost every week.

If you have any subscriptions shut those down right away.
Go to customer support top right, then contact us, then say what you need and you will get a phone number with a one off code so they know it is you.
If you do not get a phone option, go back and try another option until you do get it.
Note: if you are really on suspension, you do need to take care of why before the account will close.

If you are getting charged every month but not selling anything you must have an active subscription, what does your invoice say the fee is for?
If and when you shut your account you will no longer be able to use it but it will not be completely closed until 180 days after your last transaction.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.

Probably a bit late now.
The OP hasn't been back in the last four months, so they have probably managed to close their account, which means they will have resolved any issues with it first.
