In light of the feedback ultimately left by the buyer, I'd suggest that the answer to this thread's title is a resounding "yes".

It is a pity the buyer did not look before spending $30.00 on parts for a broken item from overseas....there are NEW toys available from a seller in Sydney for under $30.00.

That feedback says it all and makes the buyer look vindictive...he freely admits to refusing the full refund.

glad i read this thread... buyer has been added to my blocked list already. Theres a few things i would like to say about this buyer but none of it would be nice nor appropriate for this forum

I hope the seller takes this thread and all messages to eBay and get that feedback removed.

Definite feedback extortion.. what a terrible buyer

I see the buyer had done nothing for 3 years on Ebay. Will also be adding to my BBL . I find that no matter what I say on my sale posts someone always ignores it /hasn't read it . Buyers seem to be getting worse- hiding behind a "perfect" feedback score ?

Baring in mind that that in such a short space of time this thread has had over 600 views, I imagine that is at the least over 600 sellers who will now be protected from this type of buyer.

Monsters - phone eBay - speak to supervisor and get rid of that blot on your otherwise perfect record.

You are ace in my book !

Actually 25 bucks with free postage, brand new. Some buyers are just not cut out for ebay. 🐵

"Product faulty. Seller offered "full"refund, but net return postage refund = 41%"  - theres the feedback  so the buyer is blaming the seller because of a Ebay/Paypal policy in having to pay for return postage.

Hang your head in shame buyer.

The Ebay community doesn't need these type of buyers.Smiley Mad

after having no luck getting the feedback removed by email,  greencat i followed your advice and spoke to a supervisor... (thanks for that!)

as it turns out they had the wrong information from paypal and currently they are reviewing the case and will let me know in a few days time.

Where all on your side M.T.

I think the red dot is  gone already Smiley Happy
