what a shock that must have been to find them like that 😞 .
soo sad for you.
we had 2 as pets when my daughter was 2 (she is now 28) and we still miss them she used to carry them around like dolls
will you not get anymore??

Yeah, we'll get some more, but will renovate the chook run first. While it's secure, it's seen better days, so it's a good excuse to update it a bit. I have a months long service coming up in a few weeks, so hope to do something then.

So sorry to hear about your chooks being killed. I had a chicken hawk attack my little birds years ago. I had taken my daughter to the airport and when I came back home there they were. Horrible. One was saved but the rest had to be buried by me.

good luck with the rebuild! and it will give you a bit of time to get over the worst of the shock (not that you will ever forget seeing that) chooks make such good pets they are cheap,you can cuddle them,you can feed them for free,they are quiet,and they give you free eggs !!!! what more could you want lol
