To get to live help click on customer support,(top right of any

eBay page).

Customer Support > Contact eBay > hover over Buying and

select How to pay for items,(if it's a buying question).

Selling = Revise or edit a listing.

My account = Set up a selling account.

That will bring up:

Call us,Call me:

Chat with us.

Send us an Email.

You want to click on: Chat with us,which is live help.

Sometimes it gives you Emma first up,(if this happens hit the

back button and try again).

You should get a pop up box that says eBay Live Help and the

box with your eBay user ID(or email address if not registered).

Then just click on Start Chat and wait for a live help assistant.

The chat option is not available and will not appear on some support areas for example - increase limits.  It depends what you are seeking asisstance with and selecting as a topic. 

 

The chat or phone me back options also do not appear if there is no-one available to chat or ring you back.
