Packing slip

I seem to recall that there used to be provision for printing off a packing slip with the order details to send to the buyer with their item, but I can't find it no matter how hard I look. Has that function since been removed or am I looking in the wrong places?

it used to be under the sold items when you click the more actions button, I can't see it on mine either anymore...

but if you look at the "view order details" under the same tab, you can print one of those out.

I think that's pretty much the same thing.....

I printed one today, I'll go and check

Still there for me.

Go to Awaiting Postage

Then over on the right hand side ACTIONS

Then Print Address Labels or Invoices

Then click O Invoice / Packing Slip

are you using selling manager pro, or it that on your sold page?

(just wondering coz mine doesn't even have awaiting postage!)

Yes I am Smiley Happy  But didn't realize that part was different

In Selling Manager ? I have a Heading for Items awaiting postage, so I go into that

oh, i just found the awaiting postage part of it! (i was looking at the left hand side bits under sold)

But there must be different selections under Actions, coz i don't have those options!

Oh, ok.  When I go to Actions I get a menu :-

Print postage label
Add Tracking Number
View Sales Record
Print address labels or invoices

So that's where I select Print address labels or invoices

which takes me to another page where I select Print Invoice or Packing Slip

Problem now solved. Thanks to the both of you for your suggestions and advice because I needed you to tell me that I was looking in the wrong place, as I suspected. It was my fault as although I do have Selling Manager (not Pro), for ease and simplicity I generally use eBay's normal All Selling, and under that there is no provision for printing Packing Slips.

However, using Selling Manager, it was a very simple matter of going to the Actions menu and selecting "Print address labels or invoices" which ultimately takes me to the page where I have the option of printing either the address label or the invoice / packing slip, which is exactly what I wanted. I knew it existed somewhere, but it was my fault for looking in the wrong place.

However, without your combined efforts I probably would have taken forever to finally figure out exactly where it was. Taught me a valuable lesson though; stick to the one method and don't switch between them purely for the sake of convenience, because that's what brought me undone. Thanks again to the both of you. 🙂

No Worries!

I didn't know there was a selling manager and a selling manager pro.....Smiley LOL
