Anyone know when Amazon will be open for business with an Australian-based site?

This shows major problems in UK, with less reports from Oz and the US I think in California

 

EDIT to add site issues being reported on that outage site more frequently with areas affected spreading

I saw it happen as I just one an auction, I went to pay for it and bam error messages, so I jumped on chat straight away no wait and the guy had no clue!!! He said to clear cookies and cache. I told him I already tried that but the issue looks a littel more serious so he suggested me to ring a number to security they aren't taking any calls. I went to jump back on chat and saw the hold time pop up also the ring wait time. My sudden happiness of getting a bargin quickly turned into sour grapes!!! I sent them a "lovely" email saying they should discount sellar's fee's this month and offer free listing for tech issues!

I feel for you ,that has happened to me more than once ,and how do Ebay compensate you ? Nudder ! Do you still have to pay the listing fee ? YUP! I wont complain too much as I love selling on Ebay but I don't think I am their greatest fan when it comes to them being FAIR to sellers ..Hope it all gets better for you when you relist

I uploaded some tracking numbers about an hour ago and I had to upload individually for each item from the same buyer. I went back to my sold page to refresh and make sure the numbers were showing up and it wouldn't work.

 

I had some auctions finishing, some with bids. I got the email saying they had sold and also the ones that didn't sell. I just got more emails for the ones that didn't sell saying my listings are confirmed, as opposed to automatically relisted.

 

I guess it remains to be seen whether they have come off my remaining freebies, or whether they were in fact free relists (which they were meant to be).

You can still search and bid, well at least I was able to with no problems I can see
