I bailed out and went over to Betsy 2 weeks ago, (although still got a few pick-up only items, to clear out, listed on Feebay). I don't know how feebay will give their money back if they pay me cash on pick-up?? re the new 180 day refund rule, they will probably send round the stooges for collection !! Good idea you have for everyone to stop selling for 3 months, someone would surely take notice !!

I do like the notion of stopping selleing for 3-months.
However, for us its not just a hobby, it puts bread & dripping on the table.
So 3-months with no sales would definitely hurt us badly. This is probably what they bank on for sellers like us.
But for those for which it is more of a hobby it could work.

There is no buyer or seller protection with cash on pick up, so the 180 day thing doesn't apply.

I had a perfect record on my other account up until this so as soon as they start scamming my main account I will put my shop on vacation settings and work hard on my website.
i must be naive I really did not this would affect me so quickly so god knows what it will be like when the scammers really take hold and the word spreads that there is a website with free stuff for the taking................

It seems they are just arrogant enuff to take money from you any time they like.
If you have a paypal account linked to your selling account and your paypal account is then further linked to your bank account they can just dip in any time they like. Then its up to you to argue the toss to get it back. Could take ages.
In my view its best to move any funds out of your paypal account as soon as you have been paid and have ZERO funds in any linked bank accounts. This way they cannot get anything any time they like. 180-days later or not.
Do a direct paypal transfer to a family member (fee free) who also has a separate paypal account. Once its in there they cannot touch it. Then your family member can download it and transfer it back to you in some other account that is not linked in anywhere.
So always keep all your linked accounts at ZERO balance so the thieving clowns cannot get at it. Let them be the ones to try and take you to court to get what they think might be theirs. I'm sure tho they would block your selling account if this scenario would play out. But then it would be bye-bye time anyway.
