Yes, I've always liked it, and I find that about 75% of my watchers over there are visible.  The site even has it setup so that if they opt to be seen, they automatically get a notification when the shop has a sale on, as do those people who have put you in their favourites list.

Cheers,

Penny

Very buyer friendly stuff indeed Penny.

Hi! As a new eBay seller.  I'll agree that most 'watchers' have various reasons for watching ... just as some of you mentioned, I also watch items for the same reasons; as a buyer: ie, interested but might not have the funds just yet, somewhat interested, have a similar item, or just really like the type of item that the seller has but just not interested in buying (at this time), etc.  Another good reason for me is not having to search for the item again.

As a seller, I try to write as much detail as possible, and even when 'watchers' have not bought the item (item ends), that's fine, at the very least, my item was found during their search! Maybe the 'watcher' will return and buy, or maybe not.

I've had good experience so far with buyers asking directly what they need, or about price, shipping cost, etc, which is great!

So all you watchers ...or if your just ..."looky-loos"... thanks for stopping by!... if you have questions  - speak up!  we'll be glad to help!
