Hello, i just listed 10 or so items for sale with automatic listing every 10 days. Ebay disallowed  my final listing

stating i had exceeded my monthly allowance. Ebay message then stipulated that i would require a second account.

Has ebay counted my automatic listings prior to their action, thank you.

Please excuse my "novice-ness".

Middle of the night?

You probably hit your selling limit of 10.

Relists also count, so if you are restricted to 10 listings a month until you build up your feedback then your listing count is 12.

This includes the 3 completed listings.

THanks dv , yeah i lost track of time, again!

Thanks p cke appreciate your reply.

Completed listings don't count if they didn't sell.  Only sold and current (active) listings count.  Ticking auto relist doesn't affect anything as they won't relist if they sell.

If you have multiple items available in each listing, they are counted as separate listings.  For example, if you had 7 items in one listings, it's counted as 7 listings.

Sorry, that's not correct. I have a number of multiple listings and each one only counts as one individual listing, but the actual number of items available counts towards my total selling limit for the month.

I was only referring to multiples counting as separate listings for selling limits, nothing else. The thread is about selling limits, or I thought it was.

Sorry, I misinterpreted the OP, in which case you are quite right, as it means that a seller with an overall selling limit of only 10 items per month would be restricted to just one listing if that listing had a multiple of 10 items.
