100% of my sales have been non-local.
People seem to be saying all the time that pick-ups are the way to go, but really, if you live in a rural area like me, it's not worth it. Not one person I've told about my stuff on eBay has said "oh great, I want to see your stuff!" Most people in rural areas don't want the hassle of anything to do with eBay, even if it is a pick-up.
Fine, if you're in Sydney or Adelaide or someone with a lot of people, then go for it. But when nobody local is interested, forget it!
