hi hope somone can help me
my new laptp is useing windows 8
problems seems to have started when i deleted mccafe virus protection which came with laptop it expired so i thought ild delete it and i was just useing windows defender
now my problems are
i cant get on certain web sites like
paypal
some ebay features like leaving feedback but ebay works fine otherwise
i cant log into internet banking
and certain other sites
its very frustrating
but most other web sites are working all fine
can anyone give me some advice as to how to fix these problems

Hi , sounds like you just used Windows add/remove / uninstall applet via control panel

need to run the removal tool 



 http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe



to completely remove all components



if really messy , you might have to reinstall the application and then uninstall as per



ps - disable Windows defender real-time scanner while uninstalling security apps
