Further, if a piece of software stops working because you "updated", that's a good thing.
Idiots who think they know better than the people who create the operating system they are using should be ignored.
Hi benson, no it wasn't a piece of software, but the whole computer crashed. It only booted up to a
black screen with some instructions then it took me ages to get past it. When I was eventually able to get into Sys Restore
that fixed it but then I donwloaded that programme from windows the same one I think rogespeed mentions, fixit,
and ran that and after a long time all seemed well and still does.
I do always download the Win Updates though , in fact all updates.
