If you mean mine, there are 3 sets of the inlays, the orange & MOP inlays, and yes they look equidistant. And likewise, there are 3 black sections.

Maybe not - there is a difference.
The biggest difference between lacquer and enamel paint is that lacquer is a coating and enamel paint is a paint meant for coloring.
