how that song has changed.
To me the most poignant, the most tortured is Jeff Buckley.
In the 60/70's Leonard Cohen was known as "music to cut your wrists by" but I find Jeff Buckleys so much more compelling.
Of course I love kd lang. Her voice is in a different league,soaring and soul stirring, but to me Jeff Buckley really stirs my heart.
