Hi there. How do you lookup a seller using their username? Can you use the app or classic site. And also when a new seller first lists things for sale, why dont they appear straight away? Any answers appreciated.

I don't use the app, but if you go to "advanced" next to the blue search button at the top of the page, you can search for sellers there.

 

eBay always has delayed new sellers listings for a day or so, presumably to check their listings before putting them live in case there are problems.
