Confirmation emails have icons in subject line

Recently the emails I am getting for order confirmed, order sent etc have now an icon at the beginning of the subject line ( a tick, a truck) which is playing havoc with my email client (Thunderbird). Is there a way of getting rid of this pure eye candy. It does not really give me any new information as the text says it all. I now have huge trucks all over my email lists - not happy!

I have not had any of that up to last Thursday.....not sure what you are getting, sorry.

The Sale Confirmed emails have had them since April.

Yes, looks like flying banknotes.

I think you will find that the truck means free delivery....have a look at the icons for ebay plus.

The reason I have not had it is because everything I have bought in the last few weeks has had postage on it....mostly from the USA.

It has been used on all Order Sent emails to me since December, free postage or paid postage.

It is a bit of a mystery then.....I have not had any unusual icons appear on any emails.

Not sure whether to be happy or offended at being treated differently.Smiley LOL

Could it be browser related....I am using Firefox.

I use Chrome and am not getting them either

We use Chrome and have been getting them for a while.
