cant look at a particular category within a chosen from postcode any more. no more window shopping,

Not sure what you mean.

I enter a search then use the refinements in the left margin, distance from postcode etc.

Exactly! You need to enter a particular item to search. I used to just search whatever was selling in that particular field within my area (whether its books, furniture etc.) and see what was there, now I have to search for a particular piece of furniture.
